Not every entry is a single building. The 71 m at Toniná is the Acropolis, seven terraces stacked up a hillside above the Great Plaza, and the 49 m of Mount Nemrut is an artificial tumulus of stone chips. Bridges count too: the three tiers of the Pont du Gard reach 48.8 m. Among the Maya pyramids, Structure 2 at Calakmul (45 m) and El Castillo at Xunantunich (40 m) can still be climbed.
